Permacolour Decocrete is a coloured cement-based material specifically formulated to be plastered to excessive thicknesses, without sliding or shrinking and sets rock hard. Slow setting properties allow for the artistic manipulation of the material in situ. Decocrete is a cost-effective, slow drying, coloured texturing and shaping system for the artistic creation of a variety of finishes, to stimulate rock, stone, brickwork etc. and can also be carved into three-dimensional designs on buildings and landscape settings.
Purpose
Permacolour Decocrete is a cost-effective, slow drying, coloured texturing and shaping system for the artistic creation of a variety of finishes, to stimulate rock, stone, brickwork etc. and can also be carved into three-dimensional designs on buildings and landscape settings. Decocrete can be used in conjunction with Release Agent or Chemical Stain in contrasting colours to highlight, enhance colour or texture and create natural looking rock, stone and carved designs.
Specifying
Apply Permacolour Decocrete in the method required to achieve the required effect; all in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
Suitable Surfaces
- For internal and external use.
- Good, clean masonry and fibrous cement surfaces
- Primed and/ or painted Gib board
Sealing
All surfaces to be clean and dry at the time of sealing. Sealer choice is dependent on the desired finish but generally use Permacolour Stone Sheen for internal surfaces and Permacolour Concrete Sealer externally.
Coverage
20kg of Decocrete will cover approx. 2m2 at 4mm thick.
